Clinical research shapes treatments and care, but many communities are still underrepresented. That means research may not always reflect the experiences, needs, and realities of the people it is intended to support.
The Inclusive Community Network works with community organizations to help research become more accessible, representative, and connected to real-world experiences.
We do not run studies or provide medical advice. We help connect communities with researchers and research organizations in a more trusted and accessible way.

The Inclusive Community Network is free for community organizations to join.
It is designed for organizations that support people with lived experience, raise awareness, or advocate for underserved and underrepresented communities. Community partners can help raise awareness around research, share insights from their communities, and choose if and when to share relevant opportunities with their networks.

Use our Inclusive platform to better understand and work with communities to improve how research is designed and delivered

Many clinical research projects struggle to reach beyond the same groups. As a result, some communities remain consistently underrepresented.
When participation is low, it increases the risk of research not fully reflecting the realities of the people it is intended to support, meaning treatments and medicines may not be designed around the problems communities actually face.
Community organisations play an important role in helping research become more connected to real-world experiences and priorities.
Share knowledge and raise awareness around conditions that matter to your community
Provide input into how research is designed and communicated
Access and share research participation opportunities with your members, where appropriate
Stay connected without any expectation to take part
There is no cost to join, and no pressure to participate.
We work with our Inclusive community partners to highlight under-researched and misunderstood conditions through our Community Spotlight series.
These are conversations with people who have lived experience and those closest to the communities affected. They help raise awareness, share real insights, and give researchers a better understanding of what is often missed.
If you choose to take part, this is one of the ways we can work together.
Inclusive is the technology platform accessed by researchers. Inclusive Community Network is the free network for community organizations helping shape more representative and accessible research. The network is hosted on the platform, meaning researchers can learn more about your organization and reach out to you.
Yes. Inclusive is free for community organizations to join, now and going forward. It’s funded by research organizations, so there’s no cost to community partners.
Joining means becoming part of a network, so researchers can be aware of your organization and mission. You can stay informed, share insights, or take part in opportunities if and when they are relevant.
No. There is no obligation to take part in any activity, opportunity, or collaboration.
You may hear about studies, surveys, or projects that are relevant to your community. You decide if anything is appropriate to share.
Be part of shaping research in a way that reflects the people it’s meant to serve.
